[tomas has tried very hard to rationalize what he's been seeing. the battle in mexico is famous, and for a long time marcus' face was everywhere. so really, it could be just a dream.
it doesn't feel like one though, and it can't be a coincidence that marcus happened to show up to the same training facility he's in. and if tomas had not witnessed marcus shrug off no less than five other trainees, he'd have approached him already.

[advantages of having stalked marcus for a while now is that he knows what drink he likes, so at least he can maybe bribe him. he approaches him slowly, kinda the same way you'd approach a large cat]
